This is great. We have also been appearing in our own video blogs;

It is a great way to pass information across without sitting and writing for hours if that is what stops you from posting.
Once you get past the fear of being on camera, it is also really enjoyable to do.

When the post comes through in an email the embedded video can go missing and folks might not even realize that there is a video component to the post. However if you also post the url link to your video then you have all the bases covered.
Love seeing your casa as well as your charming smile

Great job Patsi! I call video blogs a lazy man and woman's content format! One thing I recently started doing that I suggest, a transcript of the video, that way you insure that the spiders pick up the conversation!

Well done!
I've done a little bit of work with video and offer two little insights you and your readers (or viewers!) might appreciate:
1) Contrary to expectations, the audio part is actually MORE important than the video. We have a more higher tolerance for poor visuals than poor sound. It might be wise for vloggers to invest in a decent mic.
2) There are TONS of books about video out there, but they're written for the kinds of A/V geeks we used to avoid in high school. (I was one of them and preferred to avoid myself.) Don't be intimidated by the technology; your goal isn't to be the next Scorsese -- quick and dirty is plenty good enough.
