Great post - I particularly identify with the points you've made about reinventing old posts, or taking existing information and freshening it up and making it new again.

With all the focus on originality and innovation, it can be hard to get past the ideas stage if you don't realise that a form of innovation is to reinvent, and not just to create from scratch. I find it's also a great way to practise and develop your own unique voice in writing if you start by rewriting old material in a new way before establishing your own ideas.
