I think you've made some good points here Patsi. I think your blog is a great example that shows the right balance between the information provided to readers and the conversational tone that keeps us interested.

I think you have hit the nail on the head about a blog not being a newsletter, you see far to many business blogger writing useless, uninformative junk.
