Great post and I agree 100% with the list thing , I personally think the value of lists are getting irrelevant because of the extensive usage of lists.

Great simple advice Barb! As a writer, I also notice the same grammar mistakes when reading posts. With lists, I agree, the shorter the better!

Happy to know that others agree. But let me stress that I'm not the grammar police, just someone who wants us all to understand each other. There's no grammar jail, though we can make fun of people who don't know or care about the basics of writing.

One of the most annoying aspects of content online is when things are spelt incorrectly. There is no excuse and it is so important to check spelling before putting online. The classic mistake of the 'there, their and they're' is almost on par with 'to, too and two'. Small details make the difference and can improve the response you get to your writing online.
