Great advice! I would add - be consistent, in both tone and delivery format, so that people "recognize" you.

I will agree that unique content is an absolute must. I know for a fact based upon my experiences writing for Hubpages.com.

My best Hubs are those hubs that took me the most to research, the longest to write and the hubs that I have consistently tweeked and edited over and over again. My unique twist or personal flair and insight are what have vaulted some of my most popular hubs to the "hot hubs" section on Hubpages.com.

However, the flip side to unique content is just what I noted above - time. It takes a lot of time to write...or at least write well. I guess that is why there are professionals; those persons where writing is a gift and where is 'just flows' from them.

Take care, eh!

Sincerely,

Daniel Tetreault.

Good advice, though the title is misleading, which is evident in the first sentence of opening paragraph.

Still, messages are well-taken and sound.

Great post. I think it is vital that you must connect with readers. There is nothing worse than reading content on the web and not to be able to engage with what is written.

I also agree that it is easy to be swept up in your own opinions. Separating yourself from the text will make your content far more valuable and attract more readers.
